Comment:
I would suggest to make a reservation first having walked in at around 10 in the morning and not being able to get a table straightaway. We left our name and was asked to return half an hour later before they would have a table ready for us. Luckily they were able to save us a table at the front by the windows as that was the nicest section. I think if we didn't get to sit there and had to sit in the back section then we would rather not come.

This place in the end I thought was more for the environment and decor than the food itself, but the food portions were quite decent and quality was fair enough for a cafe. What we were most impressed with was the attentive service the manager gave us. He offered to take photos for us, and also noticed that we felt quite hot from ordering the iced tea (nothing hot) so he came to turn down the AC temperature for us.

We originally wanted to book for the restaurant dining 'S.T.A.Y' (Simple Table Alléno Yannick) that was located on the next floor up but had limited time to schedule in a full lunch or dinner in this short weekend trip having prioritized other places, so decided to settle for the afternoon tea at their french tea room Sweet Tea.

NTD1200 for the afternoon tea set I thought was a little expensive comparing to tea sets at some other higher end hotels that offered a lot more, but guess you have to pay the price for a more well known chef. Did it pay off? Well, not really as expected.

Comments:
A fun place to stop for lunch. There was a bit of a queue waiting at the restaurant on the second floor but we decided to eat on the first floor at the seafood bars standing and stopped at one that was offering a seafood platter with a good mix since we had no idea what we really wanted. The seafood we had was pretty much standard but I have to say I don't normally eat or like crab eggs but I thought the lighter colour of this one was rather appealing so I decided to eat up and it was super yummy!

The place is quite big and we found plenty of good photo spots inside with the modern but somewhat homely interior which I quite liked. It was totally a world away from the wet market area this place is actually located in. We almost thought the taxi driver took us to the wrong place when he dropped us off.
